The Icebox 480 is a timed event on Saturday, November 3, 2018 with the object to accumulate as many miles as you can, on our beautiful 7-mile single-track course, before times runs out.

There is no immediate camping access in or near the event. If you would like to camp I suggest you contact the Willow River State Park (14 miles away). If a hotel is more your style consider the many hotels in the area - From Hudson, WI. to Stillwater and Woodbury MN. I'm sure you'll find something right for you.
The field limit is 200 runners.
Packet pick-up is on race morning only. Packet pick-up starts at 6:30 AM. (arrive early enough to pay park admission and park)
There will be a short pre-race briefing about 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.
Parking is only permitted on the streets near the race sites. No parking is allowed in the business parking lots - If you do you run the risk of being ticketed and/or towed.
You may keep your drop bags available at the start point. Be sure to bring anything you may need in your drop bag to ensure that you have a successful experience.
We have two aid stations available to you. The main aid station is stocked with your typical ultra fair, Hammer products and a few surprises through the day. The second aid station is at the 4 mile mark and stocked with water and Hammer products. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER CONTAINER TO CARRY to cut down on waste.
We will have portable toilets available at the start point and ask that you use these facilities and keep the trails clean.
Pacers and Crew
Pacers are NOT allowed. Runners can have a crew but may only administer aid at the aid stations.
Should you need to drop from the race, remove your bib and give directly to an aid station crew captain, race director. If you leave the course and fail to notify race officials, you will be asked not to participate in future St. Croix Running Company events.
1st place Male and Female
Awards will be presented as runners finish or shortly after.
Delay, Suspend or Cancel the Event
The race director reserves the right to delay, suspend or cancel any part or all of the event if weather conditions deem it dangerous to the participants or harmful to the course.
